Chicago Marathon: Base Building Week 3

On weekdays I do all my runs on the treadmill so I can run them either at home while the baby is napping, or at my gym which has child care. I have a serious mental block when it comes to running on the treadmill and the miles usually seem painfully slow. I started adding back in some intervals and progression runs which seem to help the most in beating my boredom.  Nothing too aggressive because I’m nervous to try to be building both speed and endurance back up at the same time, but it does the trick of helping the time pass more quickly. I’ve also been listening to the Serial podcast and I’m totally hooked. I go back and forth with each episode of whether I think Adnan Sayed is guilty (right now I’m leaning towards yes) and am actually looking forward to my next treadmill run to pick up where I left off.
